About me

Are you wondering how to make your workspace, products, or team look just as inviting on camera as they do in real life, or thinking ‘I need professional photos, but do I really have to be in them?!’
The thought of what’s expected, awkward posing, forced smiles, and not to mention hidden costs can be enough to put you off altogether.

I get it. That’s why I do things differently.

I’m a down-to-earth, approachable photographer who takes the time to understand you and your business, so we can plan a shoot that feels completely natural. And because I know investing in photography is a big decision, I’m upfront about pricing every step of the way.

So, who am I?

I’m a mum of two wonderfully different children, living in a busy household with my partner, his son, our fluffy cavachon dog, and our 18-year-old snowshoe cat. I’m also navigating the joys (and challenges!) of menopause – so if you’re in the same boat, I hear you!

What shaped me?

Family is everything to me, and I’m so grateful for the upbringing that instilled in me a deep understanding of the value of money. This has paved the way for some incredible adventures, from trekking the Great Wall of China for Cancer Research to safaris and skydiving (though these days, even the teacups make me light headed!).

Volunteering for a local children’s cancer charity holds a special place in my heart. Along with maintaining wellbeing and looking after our mental health.

And when I’m not wrapped up in the whirlwind of family, animals, charity work, and photography, I love going for walks in nature, (though I’m not too keen on rainy or cold weather. Give me a warm, sunny day, and I’m in my element!) or unwinding with some delicious food and a glass of pinot (or merlot in the winter!) or being snuggled up on the sofa in front of a Netflix box set, or comedy panel show (think Jimmy Carr, Lee Mack)!

My journey into doing what I love

Photography has always been part of my life. Although after studying in Graphic Design & Photography, I worked in the design and marketing field for years. I took endless photography courses along the way, always wanting to pursue this passion. When my son was diagnosed with leukaemia at 22 months, I put my photography dreams on hold for the security of a stable job. Thankfully, he’s now a thriving teenager, and in early 2023, I started building my photography business.

I firmly believe that tough times shape us, even though they might not seem like it in the moment!

After taking redundancy in late 2023, I discovered brand photography, became a certified Personal Brand Photographer, and haven’t looked back! I love helping business owners who offer services that help others.
My design and marketing background (plus my love of learning – I’m a total procrasti-learner!) also helps me offer more than just beautiful photos; I create images that truly work for your business.
